This was a pretty interesting anime series. I remember just watching the Bandai preview and found the character designs to be rather odd looking, but I liked them for their strange but appealing facial curves. I've noticed they done away with the odd longer facial curves in Banner of the Stars. I only collect cels from the 1st season because they retain the original look that made Crest of the Stars what it was. The last two seasons had characters with rounder faces which I find to be less attractive. As you can see, I'm a huge Lafiel fan and this collection will probably be the only one that rivials my Macross gallery in sheer numbers and quality. Still looking for that perfect Lafiel!!!
